The latest film from Arnold Schwarzenegger and the Terminator franchise, Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines, was released in July and has become one of the biggest hits of the year so far.
The film also starred James Franco, Arnold Schwarzenegger, and Tom Hardy, and is a big hit among female fans.
The first Terminator movie opened in the US on June 12, 2008, and in the UK on July 8, 2008.
The UK version came out on August 29, 2008 and in Australia on August 31, 2008.
“With the new film coming out, we decided to do something special for the fans,” said Chris Branson, the director of the UK release.
“It’s been such a long time since we have had a video game release and so it’s a huge honour to bring something that was created in such a special time to the fans in the United Kingdom,” he added.
“The film itself was created with a lot of collaboration between Schwarzenegger and producer Rob Reiner, and it’s been a dream of ours for quite a while.”
This is a real thrill for us, because it was a dream come true for us when we were working on the film,” he said.”
As well as being the first video game to be released in the States, it’s also the first film to feature Arnold as the main character.
“He’s the first real female to play the role of the Terminator and it will be great to be able to celebrate with him in the film.”
He also spoke about how the movie was filmed, its story and why Schwarzenegger had chosen the role as the Terminator.
“We knew that the story would be a little different than what was shown in the trailer and trailer trailer,” he explained.
“But I think it was important that the film be filmed as it is, so there’s no ambiguity in the plot.”
There’s a lot going on in the world, and the movie has to take us through some very dark times.
“I think it’s going to be really exciting to see the new trailer come out and see the movie for ourselves.”
“We had a great time shooting it and we hope fans will enjoy it as much as we did making it,” he concluded.
